A repeat flowering shrub rose, Roseraie De L'Hay grows very large, double, rich magenta blooms. These blooms have a very strong old rose fragrance and will appear in multiple flushes throughout summer and autumn with each flush lasting for 3 to 4 weeks.
This shrub rose grows up to a height and spread of around 2.5m with glossy, apple-green foliage and will excel among mixed borders and rose hedges. It can be planted in a position of full sun or partial shade with any directional facing. A hardy shrub, it is tolerant of poorer soils.
First introduced in 1861, this rose is an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner and is guaranteed to make an excellent addition to any garden.
