A 40-litre bag of Westland Raised Bed & Vegetable Soil is ready-to-use soil blend with the perfect nutrient mix, with rich and nourishing organic matter to support healthy crop growth.

With the ideal balance of organic matter and pH, as well as sand, silt and clay, it creates an open and free-draining soil that holds the right amount of moisture and has all the right nutrients to help your plants thrive. It also encourages the strong and healthy root growth of your vegetables, so you can enjoy bigger and better vegetables.

Perfect for growing an array of vegetables including root and leafy crops, as well as tomatoes, chillies and herbs, it is a nutrient-rich blend that is rooted in goodness for your vegetables.

To use it, mix with your existing soil or create a new vegetable bed and grow bumper crops.

Mix into existing soil

• Spread 3” of Raised Bed & Vegetable Soil across the soil in your border. Mix through the top 6-8” of native soil and level off.

Create a new raised bed

• Begin with a 2-3” layer of wood or bark chips for drainage
• Add a 2-3” layer of farmyard manure for extra nutrients
• Finally fill the bed with Raised Bed & Vegetable Soil to create a fertile, free draining growing area.
