The Prunus × subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea' Tree, also known as the Winter Flowering Cherry, has spectacular year-round interest and a wonderful floral display to admire throughout the winter months.
Almost completely covering the branches when in bloom, wonderful large pale pink, semi-double flowers appear on the tree from November through to March. The foliage is equally impressive as the ovate mid-green leaves turn to beautiful orange and yellow hues in autumn, which looks wonderful on its neat, rounded crown.
The Prunus × subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea' Tree is a wonderful addition to a range of garden styles but looks particularly attractive in informal spaces like cottage gardens. It also looks impressive when added to city and courtyard gardens, as a delightful specimen tree.
