The Prunus ‘Okame’ Tree is a wonderful variety of Cherry Blossom, that has a profusion of large flamingo-pink flowers.
This early flowering tree has a vibrant display that is coupled with a lovely fragrance and incredible dark green leaves. As the seasons change the foliage gradually turns to magnificent autumnal hues with a display of vibrant burnt oranges and rich reds.
A wonderful choice for planting in smaller spaces, as well as in larger gardens, it will create a magnificent focal point when planted on its own to admire its beautiful silhouette. It also has airy and spread-out growth, which creates dappled light around the base, making it a great choice for underplanting.
