Paeonia 'Shirley Temple' (1 Bulb)

About this product

A Paeonia 'Shirley Temple' bulb produces showy peony blooms of heavily ruffled and fully double soft pink petals. These bulbs are hardy and well-suited to UK gardens, thriving in sunny or partially shaded locations. The plants typically reach a height of around 80cm/32" and a width of 60cm/24", making them a great choice for the middle or back of a border.

The flowers of the Paeonia 'Shirley Temple' peony appear in late spring and early summer, providing a lovely show of colour in the garden. The petals are large and ruffled, creating an eye-catching effect, while the strong stems make it suitable for cutting and bringing indoors.

To plant, dig a hole approximately 10cm/4" deep and plant with the pointy end up, covering with soil. Water well and keep the soil moist until growth is established. In the winter, the leaves will die back, and the plant will go dormant. Pruning should be done in the late summer or early autumn to promote healthy growth for the following year.

With its beautiful flowers and hardy nature, Paeonia 'Shirley Temple' is a great choice for gardeners of all levels. Whether planted in a mixed border or grown in a standalone container, this charming variety will be a joy for years to come.
