Paeonia 'Red' is a stunning peony with large, fully double red blooms that are ideal for filling out the middle of a border or as cut flowers. These large vibrant blooms appear for between 7-10 days between late spring and early summer however these peonies are unlikely to flower within the first year after planting as flower production tends to increase as the plant becomes more established.
If cared for and in the correct conditions peonies such as the Paeonia 'Red' may be expected to live upwards of 50 years, producing stunning blooms year after year.
Plant bare root clumps 10 cm deep and at least 50 cm apart with a sprinkling of Rootgrow at the base of the planting hole. Careful location selection is important as peonies do not like being moved so try to find a permanent position with good air circulation and full sun light, never under trees.
