Paeonia 'Karl Rosenfield' (2 bulbs)

Regarded as one of the best red double Peonies, Paeonia 'Karl Rosenfield' is an exceptionally eye-catching variety. Its large, rose-shaped, vibrant cherry-red, double blossoms are grown in profusion above the lush foliage, appearing in late spring and early summer.

These 'Karl Rosenfield' bulbs will grow to a height of approximately 70cm/28", flowering for around 7-10 days. They are perfect as a specimen plant in borders or beds, city gardens or cottage gardens. They can be used to border a walk or driveway as an informal hedge and will excel as cut flowers with an extended vase life of over a week. They combine particularly well with roses, bearded irises and other perennials in striking colour combinations.

'Karl Rosenfield' bulbs enjoy full sun or partial shade in rich, fertile, medium moisture, well-drained soils. They will prefer a sheltered location and may require staking in heavy wind or rain.
