A striking spring flower, ‘New Star’ Daffodils combine a beautiful form and fabulous colour. Available as a pack of seven bulbs, the grow with a ring of white outer petals, that perfectly frame the ruffled yellow trumpet at the centre.
Growing on slender, but sturdy and upright stems, they hold their shape well and make a wonderful addition to flowerbeds and borders as part of a mixed display. They also look beautiful planted as a drift through a lawn or create a vibrant and uplifting container display to brighten patio areas and entrances.
Easy and reliable to grow, simply plant your bulbs in any moist but free draining soil avoiding very dry areas such as under conifers. Remove the faded flowers but leave the foliage for at least six weeks so the bulbs can store energy and flourish again the following year. When left they will naturalise and form a display that gets better as each year passes.
