Narcissus 'Hillstar' is an award winning jonquil with up to three flowers per stem. These lemon yellow flowers fade to white towards the centre with cups of yellowish white.
A winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit, 'Hillstar' guarantees reliable and consistent results with excellent pest and disease resistance.
These bulbs are perfect for planting at the front of sunny beds or borders or in a pot on a patio or terrace. They can also be planted directly into soil, scattered throughout a lawn to imitate a meadow, or in bold drifts to create carpets of yellow.
'Hillstar' bulbs should be planted at a depth and spacing of around 10cm/4". Alternatively, plant these bulbs in clusters to create splashes of colour.
Daffodils like well-drained but moist, humus rich soil in sun or partial shade. Avoid very dry areas such as under conifers.
