A charming addition to a range of outdoor spaces, the Malus ‘Princess Ruth’ Dwarf Apple Tree has uplifting perfectly pink buds that open as white flowers, and are a magnet for bees and other pollinators. This is followed by delicious yellow apples in late September that turn red through the season and look delightful hanging from the tree, but are even better freshly picked to eat.
Part of the breakthrough 'Princess' range of dwarf apple trees, it offers all the ornamental appeal and delicious fruit you would expect from an apple tree, without taking up too much space from your garden. Grown on M26 dwarf rootstock, this apple tree will remain at a manageable size, with an ultimate height of around 2.5 metres and has a narrow, columnar growing habit. This makes it perfect for planting in smaller spaces around the garden, as well as in large containers to add interest to seating areas and entrances.
Low maintenance and easy to grow, simply find a bright and sunny spot that is sheltered from the wind and you will enjoy many years of wonderful flowers, foliage, fruit and form in your garden.
Note: This tree requires another apple tree to act as a pollinator, however the vast majority of British gardens are close enough to a suitable pollinating apple tree for this not to be an issue.
