Malus ‘Hannah’ Dwarf Apple Tree (5.5-Litre Pot)

A versatile addition to a range of small garden spaces, the Malus ‘Hannah’ Dwarf Apple Tree, has an upright columnar habit that grows no higher than 2.5m. Taking up minimal space in your garden, it is then covered in charming white flowers that turn into delicious red and green apples.

Part of the breakthrough range of ‘Princess’ trees, they combine all the appeal of traditional apple trees without growing wider than half a metre. This means they are perfect for small areas of the garden or for planting in a large container to add beauty to entrances, seating areas, balconies and more.

With a profusion of charming flowers in spring and lustrous green foliage throughout the summer and autumn, it creates a wonderful feature in the garden. This is topped off by its bounty delicious and sweet tasting apples from late September.

Easy and reliable to grow, simply plant your dwarf apple tree in a sunny but sheltered position, in moist free draining soil. There is no need to prune this variety, simply remove dead or damaged branches in February and from the second year of planting you can enjoy a delicious crop of apples.

Note: This tree requires another apple tree to act as a pollinator, however most British gardens are close enough to a suitable pollinating apple tree for this not to be an issue.
