Lilium 'Scheherazade' (2 bulbs)

The Lilium 'Scheherazade' bulb will flower for several years, and is ideally suited for garden borders and beds.

Lilies are one of the all-time favourite summer-flowering bulbs and it is easy to see why with the Lilium 'Scheherazade'. Much like other Lilies, the 'Scheherazade' is highly fragrant and a must for lovers of cut flower displays. The 'Scheherazade' Lily is a strong grower, typically reaching 120cm / 48" tall. It is an oriental-trumpet hybrid, with large spectacular crimson red blooms, edged in gold which later fades to cream.

For best results, plant in heavy, well-drained soil with a good supply of humus during the spring months of March through to May. We recommend planting the bulbs in clumps to maximise their effect. Look for a sunny position or partial shady spot that will protect the Lilies from strong winds and direct midday sun to enjoy beautiful blooms from July through to September.
