Lilium 'Patio/Asiatic Type Elegant Joy' (3 Bulbs)

Lilium 'Patio/Asiatic Type Elegant Joy' is large-flowered bulbous perennial with stunning pink and white flowers atop upright stems of dark green foliage. Lilies such as the 'Elegant Joy' are perfect for cottage and informal gardens, patio pots and containers, flower borders or beds and as cut flowers.

These plants will flower for several years and will gradually propagate and naturalise to provide a long lasting, beautiful summer display. These lilies are fully hardy and tend to prefer a position of sun or partial shade. While Asiatic lilies tend to prefer alkaline soil, some well-drained soil, enriched with leaf mould or well-rotted organic matter, in a sunny position will be more than adequate for a healthy bloom year after year.

Try to plant the bulbs 12cm deep and 20cm apart in odd numbered groupings. Once grown, make sure to deadhead regularly and cut back the stems when the foliage dies down. Try to plant these bulbs sometime in spring in time for their bloom throughout July to August.
