Lilium 'Patio/Asiatic Type Blushing Joy' (3 Bulbs)

Lilium 'Patio/Asiatic Type Blushing Joy' is a stunning, dwarf, short stemmed Asiatic lily with a scarlet-red bloom. These lilies are perfect for summer pots and containers or for the front of a summer border with their vibrant colour and diminutive size for a lily.

Growing up to around 45-60cm these lilies will flower for several years with brightly coloured blooms that contrasts perfectly with the extraordinary dark green foliage. Lilium bulbs will greatly appreciate the cover of other low-growing shrubs or plants near their roots while the heads prefer full sun or partial shade.

Look to plant these bulbs as early as possible in late autumn or spring in time for their bloom throughout July to August. Protection from strong winds is advised as the stems and flowers are easily damaged. Try to plant the bulbs 12cm deep and 20cm apart in a well-drained soil, enriched with well-rotted organic matter or leaf mould.
