Mounds of rounded green and purple leaves with a burgundy underside form a lush display that is contrasted by daisy-like orange-yellow flowers on Ligularia dentata ‘Pandora’. A wonderful addition to partially shaded and damp areas of the garden that are sometimes tricky to plant, it will effortlessly thrive adding colour and appeal.
With clump forming mounds of foliage, it retains a neat shape that looks particularly striking planted in groups of three or more in flowerbeds and borders. It will also flourish in a mixed container display, making it a truly versatile addition to the garden.
Also known as a Leopard Plant, it adds long-lasting appeal while being robust and reliable to grow, with its foliage emerging in March and lasting through to November. In addition to this, it is a great choice for attracting bees and other pollinators into your garden.
To get the best from your Ligularia dentata ‘Pandora’, plant it in a partially shady position in moist soil. Cut back the faded flowers and foliage each year, to encourage fresh new growth for the following season.
