A wonderful choice for adding vibrant colour to borders, Leucothoe Scarletta has glossy evergreen foliage in shades of red and green. Retaining a neat and compact shape, this attractive shrub adds impact and requires minimal maintenance to look at its best.
Also known as Switch Ivy, it is loved for its colour-changing foliage. The young leaves emerge in vibrant red hues and slowly change to dark green to create a wonderful blend of colours. In spring this is further enhanced by delightful white flowers.
In addition to its ornamental appeal, Leucothoe Scarletta has also received the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society, recognising its consistently healthy growth and excellent resistance to pests and disease.
The perfect solution for shadier spaces around the garden, it will add uplifting colour and charm that can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
