This 20kg sack of Johnsons Lawn seed is a General Purpose grass will cover areas up to 1,000 m sq. in lush, green grass.

Perfect for sewing a large area of grass, this high performance lawn seed is a mix of modern Dwarf type Perennial Ryegrasses and Creeping Red Fescue which gives a lawn of superior appearance.

This general purpose grass seed produces hardwearing grass with vigorous roots, that strengthen turf and give it high resilience and durability.

How to use

For new lawns and patches

• Remove weeds and debris and dig through soil to a depth of 15-25cm
• Rake level
• Scatter evenly at 35g per m sq.
• Firm by treading or light rolling
• Water regularly with a fine spray

For renovating patches:

• Mow closely
• Scarify vigorously to expose the soil
• Scatter evenly at 20g per m sq.

Ryegrass mixture should emerge within 4-10 days depending on the weather, with Fescue emerging in 14-21 days.
