A beautiful perennial with an abundance of soft lavender-coloured flowers, Iberis ‘Mermaid Lavender’ is a wonderful addition to the summer garden. Also known as an evergreen Candytuft, it adds a cascade of colour that is low-maintenance and flourishes in a range of spaces.
Perfect for planting in rockeries and containers or for growing as finishing flourish as a garden edging. With flowers growing above a mound of dark evergreen foliage, it retains a neat and compact shape throughout the season. Thriving in a sunny spot in the garden, plant Iberis ‘Mermaid Lavender’ in moist but free draining soil. Prune it back after the first bloom to encourage new buds to grow, it will then create a reliable and attractive display that returns year after year.
