This neat and easy to grow Hydrangea Serrata Euphoria Pink, which is available in a 3 litre pot, is the first to have variegated foliage.
This RHS Plant of the Year 2023 runner-up has a vibrant and beautiful tri-coloured foliage from when the leaves first open in spring and lasts through to autumn. Reaching its peak in the summer months, between June and August, the colourful foliage is joined by the intense two-tone lacecap pink flowers.
Preferring to be planted in a partially shaded spot to avoid scorching its leaves, it is otherwise an easy to grow plant with no other special requirements.
The pH of your soil will change the flower colour of this plant. If grown in acid soils the flower colour will change to a two-tone violet-blue, with white centres. For red flowers, choose a regular compost or lime-rich soil.
Enjoy the vibrant and intense colour of this versatile plant in a range of spots around the garden, including in borders or containers.
