Admire mounds of large lobed peachy-pink, bronze-coloured leaves with Heuchera 'Carnival Watermelon'. With foliage in uplifting hues, highlighted by beautiful veining details and a curly edge, it creates a striking display of colour, texture and form.
Also known as alum root ‘Carnival Watermelon’, the fabulous foliage is further enhanced in summer but loose sprays of tiny pink flowers that appear on tall spikes, adding to the drama and appeal of the wonderful perennial.
A wonderful addition to container displays, the foliage acts as the perfect accent to a wide range of flowers. It also works well mass planted as ground cover to suppress weeds and add year-round interest to tricky areas of the garden or can be used as underplanting around shrubs. Forming into mounds, this plant is particularly suited to informal garden styles as well as smaller spaces such as city and courtyard gardens.
Low maintenance and easy to grow, simply remove the faded flower spikes and ensure that it is well watered during periods of dry weather to keep it looking at its best throughout the year.
