Hebe 'Sangria Sensation'

Hebe 'Silver Dollar' is an evergreen shrub that grows up to around 60cm tall with small green leaves that are flushed with purple, especially in cold weather. In the summer it will produce numerous short spikes of clear violet flowers. These sensational flowers offer a cloud of colour in your garden and will attract bees and other pollinators.

This evergreen shrub will reach a mature height and spread of approximately 60cm and can be used as an attractive low, informal hedge. It is a useful plant for urban or coastal gardens and makes an excellent pot or container plant. It can also excel when planted among a summer border to add a splash of variegated colour.

Plant in full sun or partial shade into soil that is moist but well drained. Protect from cold, drying winds and propagate by semi-ripe cuttings. Watch for aphids, fungal leaf spot, root rot and downy mildew.
