Hebe 'Merlot Memories'

Hebe 'Merlot Memories' has lovely, deep, reddish brown winter foliage, which changes to a greener colour in the summer. It is also perfect for attracting wildlife into your garden, such as bees, because of the pretty purple-white flowers that appear in summertime.

With it's diverse and interesting evergreen foliage, this Hebe is perfect for low maintenance flower beds or borders and can excel as a low growing divider hedge. Only growing to a height and spread of 60cm, it can also be used in pots and containers such as window boxes.

Plant in full sun or dappled shade with poor to moderately fertile, well-drained soils. It prefers moderately alkaline to neutral soil and should be protected from cold drying winds. Requiring little maintenance, it should rarely be affected by pests or disease however it can be damaged by aphids, leaf spot or downy mildew.
