Hebe 'Blue Star' (2-Litre Pot)

Hebe 'Blue Star' is a compact shrub that will form a dense mound of evergreen silvery-blue foliage. It will also produce masses of complementary dazzling white flowers throughout summer, attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

This undemanding and easy to grow plant is perfect for a sunny patio and can even be used for low maintenance window boxes, growing to a maximum height of around 60cm. Alternatively it can be added to rockery or used to fill out the front of a summer border.

When planting, try to find a position of full sun or partial shade with soil that is moist but well drained. Watch for aphids, fungal leaf spot, root rot and downy mildew. Remove deadheads from the plant when they start to shrivel up to extend and support its flowering season.
