Gladioli Giant Flowering 'Roma' (10 Bulbs)

Gladioli Giant Flowering 'Roma' bulbs produce stunning spires of vibrant scarlet red blooms. Growing up to 120cm tall, these beautiful blooms grow in a group along strong and upright spikes. With their stunning scarlet shades it creates the perfect contrast against the deep-green hues of its sword-shaped leaves.

These elegant blooms are an excellent choice for mixing amongst the back of a summer border or container. They will really shine when complemented with neutral tones such as Gladioli 'White Prosperity' or 'Smokey'. Gladioli also make excellent cut flowers and this beauty will steal the show in any floral arrangement.

For the best results, plant in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun with each bulb 10cm deep and 10cm apart. If possible separate groups of bulbs with some flowers saved for cutting throughout the summer and the rest for garden display.

After the buds have formed, stake the stems at least 5cm from the base, preventing damage to the bulbs. Gladioli need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
