Growing significantly shorter than traditional Gladioli, the Gladioli Butterfly 'Belinda' produces multiple elegant blooms of striking red and ivory white, shaped like the wings of a butterfly. Perfect for fitting in spots too small for traditional Gladioli, these pretty perennials look idyllic placed at the front of a summer border or cut for floral displays.
For the best results, plant these bulbs in clusters of five or more in a position of full sun with each bulb 10 cm deep and 10 cm apart. Ideally, we recommend separating groups of bulbs with some flowers saved for cutting throughout the summer and the rest for garden display. Gladioli need water during the growing period and mulching with peat or compost to conserve moisture.
