The large size, low-profile and thickness of this Medium Giant Rustic Pumpkin Bowl Pot make it extremely solid and very unlikely to blow over in anything but a storm force gale. One of the three available sizes, this pot features a simple design of flutes that run from the base to the rim, while the three repeating ridges of the rim make it a pot that is easy to grip and easy on the eye.
This classical pot is made in Vietnam by master craftsmen that use a mixture of local clays to create a resulting material that is dense, heavy and very strong. Not only does this durability and strength allow for the creation of larger but still structurally sound pots, but by the time it is fired in a traditional wood burning kiln at over 1200 degrees centigrade, it becomes frost proof. This means you can feel secure leaving it outside, even in the worst winter weather.
