Eucomis bicolour 'Pineapple Lily' (1 bulb)

A winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's prestigious Award of Garden Merit, Eucomis bicolour 'Pineapple Lily' produces dense and exotic racemes of starry pale green flowers with each bract rimmed in purple. At the tip of each spire sits a rosette of light green leaves that give this variety its pineapple like appearance. These spectacular blooms appear proudly in the summer, atop erect, purple-flecked stems.

Lasting for weeks, the flowers are a great attraction for bees and other pollinators offering great interest and verticality to garden beds and borders or containers.

Eucomis bicolour 'Pineapple Lily' will perform best in full sun, in rich, moist and well-drained soils. While partial shade is tolerated, it may diminish the flowering output. Water well in the summer providing ample nutrients during the growing season.
