Erythronium ‘Pagoda’ bulbs, or ‘Dog’s Tooth Violet’ is an exotic looking perennial that flowers throughout March and April, with bright sunny yellow flowers.
This award winning ‘Dog’s Tooth Violet’ has wonderful nodding flowers with heavily recurved petals, giving a beautiful lily-like appearance.
Recipient of the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit for its reliability and consistency in the garden, it is easy to grow and will bring colour to more shaded areas of the garden. In addition to this, it is also a deer and rabbit resistant plant, so you can be sure that your plants will be safe and secure.
To plant ‘Pagoda’ bulbs, plant them between August and December, 4-6 inches deep and 6 inches apart. Water the bulbs well after planting. Fertilize the bulbs in the spring with a balanced fertiliser. Water the bulbs regularly, especially during the growing season. Deadhead the flowers to encourage more blooms.
