Iris Reticulata 'Blue Note' is a dwarf variety that has deep-violet coloured, fragrant flowers with dark tips and white dappled markings.
If left undisturbed, this plant will naturalise well to create clusters of dark blue flowers that return year after year. The Iris 'Blue Note' flowers from February onwards to announce the arrival of spring in the garden.
These little blue flowers are happy planted at the front of flower beds or borders, in pots or containers, or even in window boxes for small gardens. They are also a fabulous addition when cut to bouquets and flower arrangements.
Plant these bulbs at approximately 10cm deep in neutral, well-drained soil. It's recommended to allow the leaves to die back down naturally after the flowers have been cut or faded to ensure that the bulbs will produce blooms again the following year.
