David Austin Tottering-by-Gently is an English shrub rose (Auscartoon) with single yellow flowers in large, open sprays. Simple and beautiful, this rose creates a charming display when planted in groups of the same variety.
This shrub has a beautifully rounded silhouette which looks wonderful planted in mixed border or grown as a fragrant rose hedge. It looks particularly striking alongside purple flowers, for a display with contrasting colours and textures.
In addition to the timeless beauty of the blooms, this rose has a light-medium Musk fragrance which adds a delightful scent to garden displays.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2018, this English Shrub Rose was named to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Annie Tempest's classic weekly cartoon in Country Life magazine.
