The David Austin Thomas à Becket® English shrub rose has an abundance of shallow-cupped, crimson-coloured flowers. Its blooms form delightful rosettes, with an old rose fragrance that has hints of lemon zest.
An exquisite repeat flowering rose, the Thomas à Becket shrub rose is a jewel in garden displays with its large, richly coloured roses, that are perfectly accentuated by its healthy green foliage.
With a natural and informal growing habit, this English shrub rose looks wonderful planted in mixed beds and borders, or can be grown as a beautiful rose hedge, where you can admire its cascade of fragrant flowers.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 2013. It is named after one of Canterbury Cathedral’s most famous Archbishops.
