The Lark Ascending® (Ausursula) is a floriferous and elegant shrub rose with loose open cupped apricot-coloured blooms and golden yellow stamens. This rose is loved for its airy and healthy growth as well as its timelessly beautiful silhouette.
It has soft apricot petals, arranged around a cluster of golden stamens and a light Tea and Myrrh fragrance. At the end of the season the rose hips produced by this rose shrub are stunning and add further interest to admire through to winter.
Introduce in 2012, this English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and is named after the much-loved piece of music composed by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
