David Austin Queen Of Sweden® (Austiger) is an elegant upright rose with cup-shaped, soft pink flowers, with a medium Myrrh fragrance. The buds on this exquisite rose open in soft apricot pink hues and gradually mature to soft pink, to create a wonderful mix of colours.
As a repeat flowering rose, Queen of Sweden will bloom in flushes from late spring through to early winter, with each flush lasting for up to four weeks. Plant David Austin Queen of Sweden in a mixed border alongside other flowers, or create a striking display with a mix of other roses. It is also a wonderful choice for creating a fragrant rose hedge to add structure and zoning to garden designs.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin® and introduced in 2004. It was named to commemorate the Treaty of Friendship and Commerce between Sweden and Great Britain.
