David Austin Princess Anne® (Auskitchen) English shrub rose has a bushy upright habit with an abundance of large roses in rich pink hues. These flowers first emerge deep pink, almost red and then gradually fade to a pure rich pink hue. The blooms appear in large clusters and have a complex but comforting medium tea fragrance.
Loved for its healthy and reliable growth, plant this shrub rose in a mixed border or a rose border, or grow it into a fragrant rose hedge to add zoning and structure to garden displays. Alternatively plant it in a large pot or container to add colour and interest to patio and seating areas.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and was introduced in 2010. It is named for Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal.
