David Austin Molineux® (Ausmol) is a repeat flowering English shrub rose with rich yellow, medium-sized ruffled blooms. Adding an uplifting sunny touch to garden displays, this rose combines charming flowers with a complex medium Tea, Musk fragrance that is both warming and relaxing.
The Molineux rose combines charming beauty with robust and reliable growth, which has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have awarded it their prestigious Award of Garden Merit.
It has a neat and compact growing habit, that makes it a wonderful addition to rose borders, mixed borders, as well as growing into fabulously fragrant rose hedges. It also looks wonderful grown in a large pot or container to brighten patio areas, balconies and entrances.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 1994. It is named after Wolverhampton Wanderers’ football stadium.
