Lichfield Angel® (Ausrelate) from David Austin is a vigorous and beautiful shrub rose. It develops pale peachy pink buds that open into neatly cupped, cream-coloured rosettes of blooms. It also has the added benefit of a neat, rounded silhouette and very few thorns.
As a repeat flowering rose, it blooms in flushes from late spring through to early winter with each flush of flowers lasting for 3 to 4 weeks to create a long-lasting and lightly scented display. A versatile choice for a range of gardens, you can plant the Lichfield Angel shrub rose in a mixed border, grow it as a charming rose hedge or enjoy it in a large container.
This English shrub rose was bred by David Austin and introduced in 2006. It is named after an Anglo-Saxon painted sculpture discovered at Lichfield Cathedral.
