Boscobel® (Auscousin) is a stunning upright, medium-sized English shrub rose bred by David Austin®. It produces charming red buds that open to attractive upward-facing, coral-pink rosettes of blooms that have a medium to strong Myrrh fragrance.
Ideal for a pot or container, this rose looks equally beautiful in a rose border or combined with other plants in mixed borders. If you plant your rose in a border, we recommend planting in groups of the same variety to create an impressive display to enjoy year after year.
Bred by David Austin and introduced in 2012, it is named after Boscobel House. Within the grounds of Boscobel House stood an oak tree, which is said to have been a hiding place for Charles II during the English Civil War.
