David Austin Mary Delany (Ausorts) is an elegant climbing rose with charming pointed light pink buds and very few thorns along its stems. It bears large open sprays over a long flowering season, with wonderful medium-sized, loosely double, light pink blooms. As the blooms open it exposes golden stamens at the centre and a light-medium old rose fragrance that is full of depth.
This rose is a medium-sized climber that is perfect for growing into garden structures such arches, obelisks, pillars or over a doorways. It can also be trained to grow along a garden wall or fence to great charming garden displays.
Introduced in 2002, David Austin Mary Delany is named after the English artist who is known for creating detailed botanical drawings and botanically accurate paper flowers.
