Dahlia ‘Blue Bayou’ is available as a single tuber that will grow into a magnificent anemone-flowered variety, also known as Powder Puff Dahlias. With striking bright pink-purple flowers they look dazzling in the summer garden, while also being a great way to attract bees and other pollinators.
Each of the flowers grows on tall, upright and slender, purple-coloured stems that reach up to a metre in height. This makes it the perfect flower for punctuating a mixed bed or to create an eye-catching feature with it planted in a cluster.
With a cascade of blooms from mid-summer through to the first frost, they work hard adding colour and interest to enjoy.
