While these can be planted in the front of borders or under a shrub or tree, it is best to plant these intriguing Crocus somewhere that they can be seen clearly. Try planting them in a patio pot at eye level, or on a kitchen windowsill so they can be enjoyed inside the home.
Plant these bulbs 5cm deep in a position of full sun or partial shade. Crocus sieberi 'Tricolour' will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. To avoid interference by mice or squirrels, lay chicken wire on top of the bulbs before laying down top soil.
