Crocus 'Prins Claus' (12 Bulbs)

Flowering in late winter and early spring, Crocus 'Prins Claus' bulbs are perfect for adding some striking colour and elegance to any garden, growing fragrant white flowers with purple-splashed outer petals.

A member of the RHS Plants for Pollinators collection, these flowers are highly attractive to pollinators and are likely to bring bees and other large pollinators to the garden.

Reaching a height of around 8cm, these bulbs are perfect for planting in borders, window boxes, rockeries and walkways. They will also naturalise brilliantly in a lawn or woodland to create drifts of golden yellow.

Plant these 'Prins Claus' bulbs approximately 5cm deep and 5cm apart. Crocuses will grow in a wide range of soils provided there is good drainage. They like sunshine but the flowers will last longer in partial shade. To avoid interference by mice or squirrels, lay chicken wire on top of the bulbs before laying down top soil.
