A sensational summer sight, Corn Chamomile Wild Flower Seeds grow an abundance of large daisy-like flowers that look incredible when left to naturalise. A highly floriferous flower, it creates an eye-catching display, with blooms growing on tall, slender stems. It is also well suited to growing in flowerbeds and borders, for a low maintenance flurry of summer flowers that fill gaps in displays and blend seamlessly with a wide range of plants.
Commonly known as Mayweed or field Chamomile, or by its botanical name Anthemis arvensis, the nectar-rich flowers are a magnet for beneficial insects. This has been recognised by the Royal Horticultural Society who have added it to their Plants for Pollinators Collection. Further enhancing its ornamental appeal, this annual also has aromatic, feathery and divided foliage.
Easy and reliable to grow, simply scatter the seeds in early spring or autumn on to cleared soil. Lightly rake the seeds in and keep the soil consistently moist until established. Cut back the stems after flowering to keep it looking at its best and encourage fresh growth the following year.
