Calamagrostis acutiflora 'Overdam' is more commonly known as feather reed-grass 'Overdam'. It is a compact and attractive tufted grass with a narrow clump forming habit. It bears yellow to cream-striped leaves and has sprays of purple flowers, which turn pale brown during the winter.
