BUXatrap Pheromone Refill for Box Tree Moth Trap

The BUXatrap Pheromone Refill for Box Tree Moth Traps consists of a replacement pheromone syringe that can be used to refill the pheromone bait inside the trap.

The pheromone, when used in conjunction with the trap, will attract male moths, forcing them to become trapped and subsequently limiting their ability to reproduce.

This trap system and pheromone syringe dose provides excellent efficacy and works without the addition of water, keeping the system clean and remaining effective for up to three months, without any further maintenance.

These pests are generally active from mid April to October, with a peak season from mid-July to the end of September. Put the trap in place at the beginning of the season (mid April) before the first flight, to attract and trap the male moths and limit reproduction. You can also position the trap during the moths' flight season to monitor the potential level of infestation.

How to Use

• Take off the cap and syringe half of the liquid into the first basket
• Clip the basket inside the green cap, then clip the green cap onto the see-through base cap
• Fill the second basket with the remaining contents of the syringe and put it in the centre hole of the green hat
• Hang the trap using the small rope provided, place it on the ground or place it on a garden stake, positioned close to the box trees that are to be protected
