An uplifting, cheery sight, Begonia ‘Double Yellow’ has an abundance of large canary yellow flowers that repeat flower through to the first frost. With layers of ruffled petals, the blooms reach up to 15cm in diameter making them the perfect celebration of summer.
Create a cascade of sunshine hues to admire with them planted in a pot, window box or hanging basket, adding uplifting shades to a range of places around your outside space. They also look wonderful positioned at the front of a sunny border, creating a floriferous edge to admire throughout the season. With a profusion of beautiful flowers to admire, there are more than enough to add to cut flower displays around the home as well.
Low maintenance and easy to grow, once they are planted in a bright and sunny spot, in moist but free draining soil, it will thrive for years to come. As this is a tender perennial, ensure that you add a layer of protection, or lift the tubers in autumn, to prevent frost damage.
