Aquilegia 'Barlow Black' (2 bulbs)

Bred for use as a cut flower, Aquilegia 'Barlow Black' is an extremely popular perennial, growing beautiful, fully double black flowers above fern-like green leaves. Lasting for up to two weeks in a vase they are ideal for creating dark contrast within a flower bouquet or display.

Flowering from late spring until August, Aquilegia can be mixed among other black flowers and will excel in beds, borders, rock gardens, cottage gardens, shade gardens or naturalised areas.

Aquilegia 'Black Barlow' will perform best in full sun or part shade, in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. They are easy to grow and fully hardy, self-seeding prolifically to form large colonies when in satisfactory growing conditions.
