Anemone blanda 'Blue Shades' produces large daisy-like flowers in a range of blue tones and shades that appear in March and April.
These delightful blue blooms are perfect for planting under specimen trees to naturalise, coming back year after year. They are also a great choice for attracting pollinators such as bees and butterflies to your garden. 'Blue Shades' can also be planted in clusters or drifts where, if left undisturbed, will continue to spread to create a wonderful natural effect.
To make a particularly impressive display consider planting with Snake's Head Fritillaries, or use as a carpet around taller flowers like Tulips, Hyacinths or Daffodils.
To get the most from your Anemone, plant 5cm deep and 15cm apart in well-drained, humus-rich soil.
