A tree that provides incredible ornamental appeal throughout the seasons, the Amelanchier grandiflora ‘Ballerina’, or Serviceberry Tree, is a magnificent tree to admire.
This vigorous, small 'Ballerina' tree has beautiful bronze-tinged young foliage that gradually turns to a wonderful mid green shade in summer, before the final magnificent autumnal display of burnt orange and purple.
In addition to its wonderful foliage, this tree also has large spring blooms. The brilliant white flowers appear in a bold star shape that almost entirely covers the tree and looks incredible in April. As the flowers fade this then turns to fruit that appears in wonderful shades of bright purple and red to complement the autumnal foliage.
