With its superb compact and oval shape, its purple and crimson large lobed leaves with a beautiful scalloped edge make it perfect for admiring when planted as a feature tree.
Changing with the seasons, this wonderful tree also has small yellow and red flowers in spring. As the blooms fade, slowly turning to green and red fruits, its contrasts perfectly with the depth and colour of the foliage, which also gradually gets richer in tone through the summer season.
