Acer Platanoides 'Crimson King' Tree (12-Litre Pot)

Acer platanoides 'Crimson King' is a well known Norway Maple and a clear favourite for its spectacular foliage. Broad, palmate, crimson and purple leaves bring a mass of glorious and stunning colour to any garden. It has also been awarded a Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit in recognition of its reliability and performance.

Native to central and eastern Europe as well as parts of Asia, this cultivar has grey-brown bark. In spring, a wonderful yellow-red blossom forms.

This Norway Maple has a round headed shape and reaches a mature height of 8 metres (26ft). It is suitable for any spot in the garden, either in full sun or partial shade, and will do well in any well drained, fertile soil.
